Get your video-photo timeline in order

Once in a while, some of your videos or photos are out of position in timeline-based software like Google Photos or Microsoft Photos. Common causes are:

  • Camera date-setting was wrong
  • After editing
  • After digitizing old videos or photos
  • Cameras that don’t store time-zone offset

With MP4Workshop you can correct this misalignment. You can edit date, time, time-zone offset, location and other meta data in MP4, MOV and JPG files.

Graphical user interface

It is a free Windows application and has a graphical user interface, so no command lines are required. It is stand-alone and requires no other libraries or executables.

It has a preview window for photos and video. For preview it uses the free software VLC Player (64-bits). When not present, the software is still fully functional, only without preview.

Batchwise processing

With MP4Workshop you can work on a single file, but also shift the timestamp of multiple items in one step. You can easily preview the new timestamp. A color gradient helps to check the time differences between the items.

The preview shows all planned changes. Only after a final go the processing is started, and your original files will not be changed.
